youth of hope
ELCA National Youth Gathering Information Mtg
Wednesday August 23, 6:30-7:45pm or
Sunday August 27 11:30am-12:45pm
ALL 9th-12th grade youth are encouraged to at least attend the information meeting and learn about this amazing opportunity next summer. No commitment needed, just come learn about our trip to Texas next summer and see if this is something you want to be a part of, and trust me, I am pretty sure it is!
We will be spending a few days on the island of Galveston where we will be serving the community, then, we will head into Houston where we will have a blast with 30,000 other youth from around the world. It is going to be LIT! An experience you don’t want to miss.

We need Confirmation Leaders! We are looking for a couple adults or 11th/12th graders to lead a small confirmation group. We feel that more is accomplished when youth are broken into smaller groups; therefore, we hope to add to our confirmation leader team for our 6th-8th grade classes. 6th-8th graders will meet as a large group from 6:30-7:15pm led by youth director Michelle, then split off into smaller groups to dig into the lesson more deeply along with creating stronger relationships with one another. Leaders will receive curriculum that explains each lesson and helps you guide you through small group with your youth. The only requirement for leaders is that they have a love for Jesus and youth and are ready to live and learn alongside the youth. Please send an email to Michelle Anderson at Hopeyouth@arvig.net for more info!
