Helping hands and green thumbs wanted!
Hope Lutheran has a beautiful flower garden behind the Fellowship Hall. We need helpers to tend the garden throughout the summer. Come and pull weeds and freshen up the garden anytime you have some extra minutes that you’d like to spend in the peaceful fresh air. Due to health issues, our regular volunteers are unable to give the time they previously did keeping our garden looking great. Help us keep it flourishing!
On Sunday mornings following worship, feel free to take your coffee onto the deck and enjoy the Memorial Flower Garden!
Holy Smoke 2026
The Board of Fellowship will hold their 5th Annual Holy Smoke Cook-off on Sunday September 13th. This event will be in conjunction with Hope Lutheran’s Rally Sunday. Holy Smoke is a fun competition for Hope Lutheran's smoke masters and even more fun for the tasters! They donate their favorite smoked meat or sides to the buffet in the Fellowship area at 10:15. Additional items are, chips and beans, pickles, buns and hot dogs for the kids, cake, lemonade, water and coffee. We had an excellent turnout last year and are looking forward to another great cookout. Make sure to save the date on your calendar for this popular event!
Prayer Shawls Available
Is there someone in your life who you would literally like to wrap up in prayer? Giving the gift of a prayer shawl is a wonderful way to do that. Prayer shawls are available at no cost. They have been knit or crocheted with prayer by members of the Hope community. You can request a prayer shawl in the church office.
Update your Picture Directory!
Did you take a new family photo recently? Update your online photo in Hope’s congregational directory. You can email a new picture to the church office, or update it yourself by accessing your online directory account. If you need assistance accessing your account, or if you’d like an updated printed copy of the directory, please contact the church office.
NEED A NAME TAG? Everyone is encouraged to wear your name tag during worship… it helps us all become acquainted with those we don’t know. If you don’t have a name tag, contact the church office
